At CSRB, we recognize that peer review is the cornerstone of scholarly publishing. It ensures that every article meets the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and academic integrity. Our peer review process is designed to be transparent, fair, and constructive, providing valuable feedback for authors while safeguarding scientific rigor.
β‘οΈ The CSRB Peer Review Workflow
π 1. Submission
Authors electronically submit their manuscript through CSRBβs online portal, following the journalβs formatting and submission guidelines.
π 2. Initial Evaluation
The Editorial Office conducts a preliminary review, checking that the manuscript:

Matches CSRBβs scope and focus

Adheres to formatting and submission standards
β
Meets basic ethical and quality requirements
If successful, the paper proceeds to peer review.
π₯ 3. Assignment to Reviewers
The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor selects expert reviewers based on their:

Relevance to the paperβs subject area
π 4. Peer Review
Each reviewer critically evaluates the submission, focusing on:

Based on reviewer feedback, the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor chooses one of the following outcomes:
β Accept β The paper is accepted as submitted.
π΅ Minor Revisions β Minor changes required prior to acceptance.
π‘ Major Revisions β Significant changes required to rectify errors or deficiencies.
β Reject β The paper does not meet CSRB standards and will not be published.
βοΈ 6. Revisions by the Author
If changes are required, authors must revise their manuscript and submit a detailed response letter addressing reviewer and editor comments.

If substantial changes are made, the manuscript may be sent back to the original reviewers for an additional round of review, ensuring concerns have been adequately addressed.
β 8. Final Decision
The Editor-inβChief or Associate Editor evaluates the revised submission and review feedback.
