⚡ Our Commitment
At CSRB, we recognize that authors are the heart of scholarly publishing. Our Copyright Statement aims to balance:
✅ The protection of authors’ rights, and
✅ The ability for CSRB to publish, curate, and circulate academic works openly and reliably.
Through this policy, we foster trust, collaboration, and global knowledge-sharing.
🔑 Rights Granted to the Publisher
The submitting (and corresponding) author, acting on behalf of all co‑authors, grants CSRB an exclusive license upon acceptance. This includes the right to:
📖 Publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and store the work across platforms (digital, print, and beyond).
🌍 Translate the work into other languages.
🗂️ Adapt, reprint, and create summaries, extracts, or abstracts from the work.
♻️ Develop derivative works based on the original submission.
🔗 Incorporate links from the manuscript to external or third‑party resources.
⚖️ Authorize third parties to carry out any of the rights listed above.
🛡️ Pursue legal action if any party violates or threatens to violate the work’s copyright.
👇 Rights Retained by the Author(s)
Authors maintain significant rights to use their work, allowing for academic and non‑commercial reuse, including:
✅ Sharing PDFs with colleagues, researchers, and students.
✅ Making limited copies for personal or educational use.
✅ Reusing portions of the work (figures, data, text) in future academic works, books, and articles, with CSRB appropriately cited.
✅ Including the work in institutional repositories or course bundles (provided the bundles are not sold for profit).
✅ Presenting the work at seminars, workshops, or meetings.
✅ Incorporating sections of the work in other non‑commercial publications, ensuring CSRB is cited.
✅ Publishing updated or expanded versions of the work elsewhere, with CSRB acknowledged as the original publication and prior notice given.
⚡️ Note: Commercial use of the work or its inclusion in other for‑profit platforms must be pre‑approved by CSRB.
